Clementina Mulenga (born June 14, 1989), professionally known as Cleo or Cleo Ice Queen. Award winning Zambian hip hop recording artist, renowned television and radio presenter. Former Pro flight Zambia brand ambassador, Diva Woman Condom brand ambassador, best known for her role in Big Brother Africa (The chase)
2017 winner Best Female in the SunFm Kwacha Music Awards AND winner of AFRIMMA Best Female in Southern Africa.

Cleo got her moniker “Ice Queen” from her love of jewelry, which in hip hop slang, is known as “ice”. Cleo was also featured in the 2014 March issue of a Nigerian Magazine VL! Magazine as the cover story.[


Began her singing career when she was 11 years old at that age. The passion for music and joining the Zambian entertainment industry begun. According to Cleo , she wanted to be behind the microphone from the time she was 4 years old. Used to perform at her own parties starting with her 4th birthday.
At the age of 16 Cleo recorded and released her first single Hands Up. Cleo Ice Queen had her first studio experience while at Banani International School where the school principal built a recording studio at the school. In 2011 she released a single titled Big Dreams which featured JK. Then later featured in Khuli Chana’s official ‘Tswa Daar’ remix alongside Ice Prince, Maggz, Navio, AKA and Reason.

On November 27, 2016 Cleo confirmed the pregnancy on social media and went ahead to confirm during the recent performance alongside South Africa’s Nasty C rapper. Then later got in a long relationship with the farther’s child Kaladoshas.

No one really knows the truth as to why Kaladoshas and Cleo Ice queen quit the relationship. Because the two later dropped a hit love song titled “Umbrella”. Then on 20 February 2017 had her second daughter. Cleo is now a proud mother of two cute girls like other Zambian musicians.


2016 Cleo Ice Queen debuted the music album titled Geminice, consisting of 14 songs inspired by her Gemini star sign. One part of the album has seven sentimental and lyrical songs, while the other seven songs are upbeat tracks, with party anthems like the Urban Hype featured Turn Up , Addicted and Autobahn. Cleo released another single titled Soldier produced by Kekero, a melodic side of rap. The song she talks about the appreciation to the an African man and this was Cleo’s inspiration.

Then followed a number of solo hits like, ‘Umbrella’ and her latest debut single, Xo fever, Gimme dat, Secure the bag and many more. Cleo Ice Queen has been internationally captivating audiences with her high energy of ‘Afropop’ blend.

On 22 September 2016 Cleo iCE Queen became the first Zambian artist to be picked for the Season 2 of Coke Studio.

Coke Studio is a music television series in Africa where artists are given the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians, create something new and exciting. Cleo Ice Queen and south African star Bucie and relesed a song titled Simunye (We are one). This became a massive hit, talking about African royalty, unity and oneness with a touch of Cleo’s Zambian tongue, Nyanja and a touch of South African native tongue, Xhosa.
