Scott – Biography, Who Is He? Quick Facts

Scott Zambia is a 25 year old talented musician. Born Bernard “Scott” Shaluchiso is poised for greatness a highly gifted vocalist and music composer whose strong voice is the spotlight that illuminates his talent. His infectious melodies coupled with heartfelt lyrics and unique vocals distinguish him from most other artists’ period. His “sound” can be described as rhythm and blues accentuated with pop and the soul of an African dreamer. With three official singles out he got a rising count of features and notable guest appearances with both Zambian and International Acts.

In 2015 he became Zambia’s first winner of the Airtel Trace star competition representing the country in the final. Thereafter he released his debut single ‘Make It Better’ (Produced by Kenyan producer Saint P) that received massive airplay on radio stations across the country. “Chikondi” his second official single was released in 2016 alongside “Grey Goose”. That year he headlined the Lusaka Comic Convention in conjunction with other local artists and he was the opening act at West African (Nigeria) artist Wizkid’s concert and South African Singer Daniel Baron.

2017 saw Scott work alongside Jay Rox at Jameson Connects and Mosi Day of Thunder one of the biggest annual concerts in the country. The close of the year saw Scott perform at Chanda Mbao’s The Patriot Mix tape launch, he collaborated with Dancehall Artist DJ Cosmos and announced the release of an EP in 2018. Scott’s latest projects include his heart lifting third official single “Amazing You Were “ and a feature on Chanda Mbao’s Hit song “Wave” which has received incredible reviews.

The video also got impressive rating and is currently on Trace Africa hitting the top 10 on Trace Urban and the remix to song called “The Bigger Wave” featuring South African rapper Da L.E.S and Laylizzy from Mozambique His list of local a collaborators is quite extensive and has the likes of reggae artist Cactus Agony, Hip hop artist Chanda Mbao, Reggae/dancehall artist Kaladoshas, Jedi, Urban Hype’s F-jay, Jay Rox , Slap D and renowned local producers such as Shom C, Shinko beats, Reverb and Chase Iyan as well as live bands such as Uhuru Vibes band. Free spirited and engaging he’s someone to keep an eye out for from his remarkable composing skills, to intriguing vocals and intriguing personality, Scott is a versatile young artist who has undeniable potential and the vocal prowess to be the next big thing in African music and the world.
