Ruth Ronnie – Biography, Who Is She? Quick Facts

Ruth Ronnie is an award winning recording artist and live performer. Her music is known to be diverse as she touches a wide range of genres like dancehall, reggea, afropop, Rnb, afrosoul and trapsoul. Due to Dancehall music being her main forte, she is referred to as ‘The Queen of the Dancehall’. Her musical aspirations began at a tender age and her love for creating music and performing led her to pursue a career in music. Starting out as a rapper, singer and song writer in 2008.

In 2011 she started working with producers like Shom C, T-sean later worked with So’good entertainment. In 2013 she joined Onions & Greens band as the lead singer and she later started working with Ikonic Music. Her music video for the single ‘It’s Okay’ scooped her the Best female Upcoming artist Award at the Born & Bred Awards 2013/14. The “Sauce” singer featured on Cleo Ice Queens Album ‘Geminice’ on the tracks ‘Turnt Up’ & ‘Saturday’. And Fjays album titled ‘8’

Apart from being a committed recording artist Ruth Ronnie is also a relentless live performer, following her passion of creating platforms for other musicians, She broke off from Onions & greens band and Founded The Vibes Band. A band she manages and often performs with at several corporate functions and live music events.
