VIDEO: Macky2, Chef 187, Wezi, Maureen Lupo Lilanda and Pontiano – “TOGETHER WE CAN (Covid-19 campaign)”

Ministry of Health and UNICEF bring on-board Macky2, Chef187, Maureen Lupo Lilanda, Wezi and Pontiano have a new song to encourage Zambians to protect themselves and their communities from the coronavirus disease.

The song brings together a mix of musical styles and a mix of languages, with messages given in Bemba, English, Kaonde, Lozi, Nyanja, and Tonga.

The track, entitled ‘Together We Can’, part of Ministry of Health’s efforts to sensitise the public to wash hands regularly with soap or hand sanitizers, to maintain physical distancing and to call 909 if they think they have the symptoms. The project is being coordinated by UNICEF as part of the joint United Nations response in support of the Government of Zambia.
