Copper-belt based recording Artist and producer, Mr Turner has jumped on the opportunity coming from K Amy Music frontier KB Killer Beats, after opening curtains to every musician that felt the need to share there side of the story on his “Diary” sequel instrumental.
Turner, been one of those Artists to share, has brought forth a story revealing some serious dark moments with Kekero and Tonny Breezy. The Artist has gone way further to elaborate how, even after winning Kekero’s Illuminate Riddim Competition in 2018 nothing was given to him apart from empty stories. According to the competitions terms and conditions, the winner was to shoot a music video courtesy of Artistic Planet Music, while the second and third finalists were to have their songs produced at Artistic Planet Music.
“The whole show was a scam and made no impact on my music journey. I was made to travel to Lusaka from Kitwe at my own expense. The guy didn’t even say a thing. In Zambia most of us are talented but the people who’re supposed to help out, instead block our every effort and hustle made,” Turner said.
On the other side, he pointed out renown producer Tonny Breezy, how they could not work together back then because he’s interested in making money out of upcoming musicians and not grooming talent.The Artist did beautifully deliver the deep secrets ,most of us did not know about all in song, sang with an emotional taste.
