Tiwah Hillz to perform at the Misty Summer Experience pre-independence day

The Airtel TRACE Music Star and winner, Tiwah Hillz, is set to perform at the Misty Summer Experience pre-independence day concert along side Fally Ipupa on 23rd October today, a show, which will be headlined by Congolese superstar Fally Ipupa.

Born in Lusaka, Zambia in 1992, Tiwah Hillz,  now very well known, for composing her own songs at the tender age of 13. Continued to pursue her passion as she grew, ultimately entering a music competition that would push her into the spotlight and onto our television screens.

Tiwah expressed her pleasure of the opportunity to perform at the pre independence day concert with an international artiste  like Fally Ipupa .proved to be the biggest competition in Africa. The finale that occurred in Lagos, Nigeria, was a star-studded affair, which saw Tiwah Hillz being crowned the continent’s next top talent by industry heavyweights that included the DRC’s Fally Ipupa.

Apart from singing the national anthem Tiwah Hillz will also perform her hit single “Beautiful” that features US artiste Keri HilsonThis will be the first time for many local fans to see her perform the song live.

“My experience of working with her was something one can only dream of. The delivery that was put into the song was outstanding; it all turned out beautiful – just like the song title,” Tiwah Hillz says.

Beautiful, is a song about women who is seeing past their imperfections and actually loving the skin they’re in. Keri Hilson, who’s become something of an inspiration and mentor to the competition winner, who wrote the single.

She also said, “My journey after winning the competition has been amazing. This experience has opened so many doors for me. I truly thank TRACE Music Stars for helping me make all my dreams come true,”  said Tiwah Hillz.
