The Patriotic Front has taken strong exception to “Koswe Mumpoto”.
Koswe Mumpoto hit taking aim at its leadership for allegedly plundering the country. Some youth are civil, others are extremely vulgar, taking turns to respond to Pilato.
BELOW IS A STATEMENT
The song is insulting, provocative, and degrading outside the province. Everyone has freedom, but this is beyond one’s entitlement to freedom of expression.
Patriotic Front youths therefore, gives Pilato a 48-hour ultimatum to withdraw his track.
We shall not sit back and have him insult our President at will. We vehemently disagree with the offensive lyrics as they are designed to insult and demean.
We have no problems with anyone holding the President and his administration accountable. But we have serious issues with those who wish to take it upon themselves to insult the President.
