Popular Zambian gospel musician Esther Chungu , gets a three-album deal with music sensation Esther Chungu. Esther Chungu is a singer-songwriter, whose music career begun in 2014 with the release of her debut single, Shooting Star. She released her debut album, Mubanga, in 2016 under Retunes Management and a co-sign from Brave Only Music to an amazing and overwhelming reception.
Retunes a Lusaka based record label Retunes Music Group As at 17th July, 2018 Esther Chungu re-signed with Retunes. Retunes CEO, Steven Mwale, mentioned that Esther Chungu will be executive producing her next project. Also added that Retunes has two new signings to the label who will be announced soon.
Her music career has seen her grace stages like the Pamoja Festival in Burundi, Day Of Thunder Music Festival in Zambia, Zambia Music Awards 2016, and is set to perform alongside American Rn’B legends Brian McKnight and Joe at this year’s Stanbic Music Festival. She has also shared the stage as a headlining artist alongside great artists like Donnie McClurkin from the United States of America, Khaya Mthethwa of South Africa, Pompi, Mag44, Chileshe Bwalya and Ephraim from Zambia.
Her previous album released had massive hit singles like Runaway Child and Jehovah. Her debut album saw her work under the direction of the amazing producer Magnus “Mag44” Mando and music executive Steven Mwale.
